And that is how this blog started. Bow. :)) Since I know foodies do not care about me but only the food, I skipped a possible boring intro and try not to be wordy so that I can focus on being a foodie. Get that ya'll?! :))
Before I begin, I would like to start by introducing myself. I'm Ran, a.k.a. Hyperion. Yes, I know my friends do not call me that, but because you are yet to become a friend of mine, Hyperion will do. If you are already my friend, disregard this. Thank you :))
Continuing where I left off, I would just explain a little bit more about myself:
- I am from Manila, Philippines. My favorite places to eat are places in Manila and in adjacent cities such as Makati, Quezon City, etc.
- Financially speaking, I am probably part of the Middle Class, Lower Middle Class in particular. Which probably means that I only tried most of the food here one time AT THE MOST. I am just a student, after all. :))
- I have none, if not, very little experience eating gourmet food. (probably no experience at all :)))
- My favorite cuisines are Italian, American, Japanese, and of course, Filipino. I love veggies but not fruits and/or seafood, unless the latter are prepared in "special" ways. (fruits - blueberry cheesecake, halo-halo, etc. seafood - tempura, sushi, etc.)
I did not tell you all those things because I am so egotistical. I told you those things so that you would know some of the factors that would affect my verdict on the product. Dude, we are really unique creatures. What I am saying is that, if you somehow find yourself relating to me (my tastes, social standing, etc.), then this guide would probably be accurate for you. If not, then do not blame me if you would not like the food. You tried it on your own volition. :))
The food/drinks I would review would be graded in a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest. Since this intro is becoming extensive, I would explain the scaling system when I rate the food/drink. I would provide a simple explanation of the good and bad points of the food/drink. There are also five (5) categories that I would grade and discuss in particular, namely:
1) taste,
2) price/affordability,
3) satiety
4) quality of product, and
5) satisfaction.
So, if you are planning to eat or try food/drinks, if you are lucky, then I might have tried it out for you! Who knows, maybe I can make you Hyper Crave! Anyways, welcome to Hyper Crave Craze!
Happy Binging!
- Hyperion :))
